Out of a deep conviction, we have set ourselves clear climate protection targets. We want to reduce our CO₂ emissions along the entire value chain by over 30% by 2030 compared to the reference year 2022.

In autumn 2024, this plan was validated by the independent Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The organisation confirmed that our approach to reducing emissions is in line with limiting global warming to 1.5°C – the most ambitious goal of the Paris Climate Agreement.

To achieve this, we are consistently pursuing a series of projects at all our sites.
