The future is made by all of us. So we work with trusted partners who support responsible practices. Whether that’s sustainably cultivating the wheat we use or ensuring that our eggs are laid by barn hens that have space to roam. But we don’t stop there.
100% of our wheat is sourced from carefully selected partners in Germany and Poland. We also ensure that any palm oil we use is 100% responsibly sourced, using methods approved by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
WHERE OUR COCOA COMES FROM
Cocoa is an important part of our ingredients. So we have made a conscious decision to partner with the Rainforest Alliance (ra.org) to ensure our cocoa is grown more responsibly.
Since 2014, we’ve also been collaborating with CABOZ, an association of cocoa farmers in the Ivory Coast. CABOZ focuses on improving the living conditions in rural communities by funding and supporting projects related to health, access to drinking water, education, empowerment of women and local communities, and income-generating activities. By collaborating with CABOZ, we can better understand and address these challenges in a practical and cooperative manner.
WHAT WE'RE DOING
We believe that packaging shouldn’t just be functional, it should be environmentally friendly too.
But that’s not always easy. We’re constantly refining our packaging to reduce our impact on the environment while ensuring our biscuits arrive exactly as intended. The cardboard boxes that protect our biscuits are made from up to 90% recycled materials. Furthermore, the plastic trays our biscuits sit in are 100% recyclable.
